Ember months: FRSC begins special patrol Along Abuja-Lokoja road

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Yangoji unit command has commenced special patrol along the busy Abuja-Lokaja road, the commander in-charge of the area, Mr. Godwin Samgbaza, has said.
He noted that the unit has put in place measures to enhance public enlightenment in order to engender good road habits during the ember months, adding that unit would continue to hold advocacy campaigns in motor parks, markets, religious centers and other strategic places in order to achieve its mandate.
Samgbaza is an Assistant Corps Commander, ACC, pointed out that the corps used to embark on periodic enlightenment on tyre violations, over loading and route violations to check against avoidable accidents.               
The unit commander called motorists to get a copy of the Highway Code and abide by its teachings just as he tasked drivers on the need to checking their vehicles daily to guide against being penalized.
