A prayer for Julius Agwu

Julius Agwu, the one who has made us to laugh in the early days when comedy was still evolving in Nigeria, needs our prayers.
This is the period like Abraham Lincoln would say: “I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.”
Agwu had a relapse of his brain tumours and is back to hospital. Though his wife says it is not as bad as the first time he went for surgery, we still need to pray for this young man that defied many odds to climb to the perch of life.
Father, we know you to be compassionate God, the One whose mercy knows no end and abounds continually.
We come to you in supplication for Julius Agwu, that You will show him mercy, that healing will come upon the wings of heaven and make him whole again.
We know he is man of thanksgiving, we desire to see him come before the congregation of Your people to praise and bless Your Name.
We too will exalt You as we have always done because of Your great mercy. Lord, arise on his behalf and for many others and let Your Name be glorified forever. Amen.
