Japan Completes N32m Primary School Project in Gwagwalada

The Embassy of Japan has announced that the construction of local government education authority Angwa Dio Primary School in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory has been completed with the new classrooms ready for handover to the FCT Universal Basic Education Board.

In a statement by the embassy in Abuja on Friday, the completed classroom which cost the Government of Japan $90, 604 (N32million) will be handed over to the FCT authorities on Monday, November 27.

The embassy expressed the hope that this assistance “will contribute to improvement of basic education in Gwagwalada Area Council in the FCT and will strengthen the amicable relationship between Japan and Nigeria.”

The project includes; 6 classrooms, 1 headmaster’s office, 1 staff room, 120 sets of desks and chairs for students, 8 tables and 10 chairs for teachers, and 1 block of 4 toilets.
