Ortom Assures Of Security At Eid-El-Maulud

As Muslims celebrate Eid-El-Maulud on December 1, 2017, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has assured the people of the state that his administration will continue to take proactive measures to guarantee the security of lives and property.

In a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr.Terver Akase, Ortom thanked the people and other Nigerians for their support on the successful commencement and implementation of the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law.

He urged cattle breeders and farmers in the state to cooperate with security agencies and other relevant organisations saddled with the responsibility of enforcing the law.

The governor reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to ensuring the safety of the people while creating numerous economic opportunities.

He expresses optimism that the economy will improve and his administration will continue to deliver good governance to the people.

The governor enjoined Muslims to seize the opportunity presented by Eid-El-Maulud to pray for peace and unity as they mark the birth of Prophet Mohammed.
