Minister assures of speedy completion of infrastructures

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Malam Muhammad Bello, has assured that the current administration is working assiduously to complete ongoing infrastructure projects in the territory. 

Bello disclosed this during the commemoration 26 years of the movement of the seat of government of the federation from Lagos to Abuja, organised by the FCT Archives and History Bureau. 

According to him, the current administration is working assiduously to complete ongoing infrastructure projects which will enhance the livability of the city. 

The minister stated that it is important that the public work together to safeguard the collective heritage by joining hands to protect all public utilities and infrastructures which have been procured at great cost. 

"We are poised to ensure the navigability of the city, economic vibrancy as well as improved service delivery across the board", he assured. 

Speaking at the event, director, FCT Archives and History Bureau, Ms. Cerie Jogai, stated that the edition has created an ample opportunity for the territory to reflect on the journey so far in the Abuja project and also to recognize the great patriots for their visionary leadership and commitment to the attainment of the impressive initiative. 

 

According to her, without good and effective record management in the public and private sector lives, the organizations will continue to suffer tremendous set back. 

"We would officially present the FCT Records Management policy to guide the various SDAs on the appropriate ways to manage records", she assured.
