2019: Delta Vanguard endorses Okowa

The electorate in Delta State have been advised to re-elect Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019 to sustain his giant strides.

A group, Delta Political Vanguard for Okowa, DPV, at an enlarged rally held at Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Council, commended the governor for giving facelift to the entire sectors in the state.

Director-General of DPV, Mr. Ifeanyi Eboigbe, scored the governor high in infrastructural development across the 25 local government councils in the state.

According to him, the governor has embarked on aggressive roads construction and rehabilitation, earning him the nick name “Road Master”.

He stated that the health sector, educational sector, and all spheres in the state have received great attention from Governor Okowa inspite of lean resources.

According to him, the job creation office has trained a lot of youths and artisans in various vocations and after graduation, are given starter packs, thereby reducing unemployment.

He advised Deltans of voting age to get themselves registered and collect their permanent voter card so as to exercise their franchise in 2019.

The National Chairman of DPV, Hon. Michael Diden, told the crowd that the governor has fostered peace, harmony and oneness in the state, and called on Deltans to support him in 2019.

A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in the state from Ukwuani Local Government Council, and also a member of Delta State Sports Commission, Hon Chinonye Dafe, commended the governor for transforming the Asaba stadium to international standard, by providing the state of the art equipment.

On his part, Hon. Dennis Kabeoje Tabuko and Hon. Chadwick Ogoegbene, coordinators for Udu and Burutu Local Government Councils, explained that the governor has touched both urban and rural areas, and should be reelected for continuation of the good work.
