Women group to organise 1-million match for Buhari

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, a Buhari/Osinbajo solidarity group has concluded plans to stage One-Million-Match to galvanize support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in office. 

The women group, Noble Women Movement for Buhari and Osinbajo, NWM4BO, said the planned match is to consolidate on the massive support the present administration is recording in all the six geopolitical zones of the country. 

NWM4BO in a press statement signed by its Director of Publicity, Dr. Rachael Ahmadu, and the National President, Mrs. Mfawa Usani, in Abuja, indicated that the match would hold sometime in the year. 

The statement also revealed that wives of governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as well as wives of ministers in President Buhari’s cabinet would lead the epoch event. 

The statement further stated that others to participate in the One-Million-Match include wives of lawmakers at the federal, state and local government levels; women based Non-Governmental-Organisations NGOs); and youth groups; will come out to throw their numerical weight behind President Buhari and Osinbajo. 

The group, which described the match as "mother of all political match," stressed that no amount of blackmail against the Buhari's administration will change the minds of millions of Nigerians who are genuinely yearning for trusted leaders. 

NWM4BO assured of their commitment and readiness to partner with other relevant groups to work assiduously at delivering the Buhari/Osinbajo presidency come 2019 general elections. 

"We are going to deliver the party. We are prepared and our preparedness will be demonstrated on the planned one million match. We cannot be intimidated. Our women have our support and we shall come out victorious because we have all it takes," the statement assured.
