APC stalwart canvases votes for Buhari

Board chairman of FCT Area Councils’ Service Commission, Alh. Isah Sa'idu, has tasked the residents of FCT to vote massively for All progressives Congress, APC, to enable President Muhammadu Buhari win the 2019 general elections.

He disclosed this to The Abuja Inquirer while calling on the area councils’ staff to make efforts to obtain the Permanent Voters' Card.s, PVCs, noting that the act is the only means they could elect credible leaders that would provide good governance.

The APC stalwart stated that stakeholders of the party have resolved to work for the success of APC in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, due to the benefits the indigenes received in the APC led government, just as he noted that the present administration of President Mumanmadu Buhari has given more appointments to FCT indigenes than PDP government.

The politician revealed that they would collectively campaign for APC candidates in all elective positions in the next year’s general election with a view to colleting the only senatorial seat being occupied by the PDP in the National Assembly, stressing that inclusion of area councils would make the contest interesting.

The chairman enumerated the appointments to include two ambassadors, two mandate secretaries, five board chairmen including members among others, even as he revealed that this singular gesture would continue to propel FCT residents to vote for the APC to retain seat at the national level.

Sa’idu commended the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Bello for executing meaningful projects across the six area councils more especially in the satellite towns, even as he described the current minister as a silence achiever who do not want to blow his trumpet.

He assured members of the party that APC would conduct free and transparent primary elections to the satisfaction of all aspirants, just as he tasked party supporters to always give the leaders of the party necessary support and cooperation throughout the electioneering.
