I was joking when I asked American star for help – Uti Nwachukwu

Former Big Brother Africa star, Uti Nwachukwu, has claimed he was merely joking when he begged American superstar, Taraji Henson, popularly known as Cookie of Empire, for help online.

The appeal which drew the anger of many Nigerians, may have pushed the TV star to come clean.

According to Nwachukwu, the post was nothing serious.

He said, “It was a joke; people should not take it seriously. I always make silly comments on Cookie’s Instagram page. People are free to say whatever they want to say. I am just a fan of Cookie. I comment a lot online and I joke with my loved ones and friends.”

Meeting Davido was a blessing – Mayorkun

DMW singer and son of popular actress, Toyin Adewale, Mayorkun, has continued to count his blessings years after meeting pop star, Davido.

Mayorkun, who met Davido after he uploaded a video of himself playing the piano to one of the latter’s songs on social media, said that it had been nothing but bliss since he came in contact with the self-acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo.

He said, “I will continue to remember the day I met Davido for good. He has really been a blessing to me and I will always appreciate him. He is a very good person because he didn’t know me from Adam before offering me a deal with his label. Even when I tell people how our paths crossed, they don’t believe. He took me as a brother from day one and he has been very instrumental to the growth of my career.”

On the advice his mother gave him at the outset of his career, Mayorkun said, “She just told me to always remember the son of who I am and to stay true to myself. She warned me not to live a fake life but to be focused on my career. As someone who has been in the entertainment industry for a while, her advice is very valuable to me and I make sure to follow it. I am very close to my mother and I don’t do anything without her.”

I shower my man with gifts – Ferrari Okoro

At first sight you would think you need to break the bank to have Tonia Ferrari Okoro sit have a chat with you.

But when you go closer and have a feel of her warm affection, humility and the sparks of electromagnetic attraction that emanates from her, you will realise you are in nothing but a good company.

Though not the kind of beauty that will grace the covers of European tabloids but her womanly assets, steep in African values will more than make many African men have a rush of carnal hormones.

It is doubtful any man will run into her and not be pushed into wanting to know her better.

Looking at her and how sophisticated she looks, you may be pushed into thinking this is another major project that would get your bank manager in a twist, Ferrari is far from that.

In a recent chat, the former banker turned actress said all she wants from her man is love.

“Love means so much to me. In a relationship I cherish love more than sex or money. When I love someone I’m magnetised to that person and spend for the person. I do it a lot when I’m in love and he looks alluring to me all the time and I shower him with gifts,” she purred with affection.

While most women would rather have their men spend on them and shower them with gifts, it appears this woman of Cameroonian-Deltan stalk is an exception to the rule.

“I spend on my man. I buy him gifts, it can’t be one-sided. It makes it more interesting. I see nothing wrong in that,” she reiterated.

When asked if she would still love her man, when he’s poor and bad in bed, her answer wasn’t as welcoming as her face. “Poor and broke? Bad sex and poor? God forbid”, she railed.
