FCT SEB chair boosts staff morale

As part of efforts to enhance quality education, the Ag. FCT Secondary Education Board Chairman, Mr Sunny Moniedafe, has reiterates the board's commitment towards creating a conducive and working environment for its staff. 

 

Speaking during a brief interactive session with staff at the headquarters of the board, Moniedafe said efforts will be intensified towards achieving the 8-point agenda in order to achieve its set objectives for the benefit of all and the schools under the board's management. 

Moniedafe said the welfare and productivity of staff are paramount in the quality service delivery to FCT residents in the area of education.

According to him, education is a vital tool for development and the individual charged with such responsibility must live up to its expectations without leaving any stone unturned to achieve the desired success. 

The acting chairman, who is overseeing the activities of the board, said that he operates an open door policy and urged staff to be punctual at their duty post and work diligently in order to fulfil the mandates of the board, adding that service to humanity is a step to greater tomorrow and goodwill. 

Speaking earlier on the purpose for the briefing, the acting director of the SEB, Mrs. Nanre Emeje, said the meeting was imperative to remind the staff to live up to expectations as civil servants 

She said staff should imbibe discipline on the job while putting in their best and work in line with laid down rules, while emphasising on the need to be patriotic in service delivery.
