Edwin Clark varsity secures NUC approval on core courses

Edwin Clark University, Kaigbodo, Delta State has secured the National Universities Commission, NUC’s, accreditation for 14 of its core programmes.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Timothy Olagbemiro, said the fourteen new accreditations bring the number of accredited programmes in the university to 25.

Olagbemiro said NUC assigned 53 professors to scrutinize the operations of the university before the accreditation was given.

According to him, the accreditation scores of the institution ranged from 79 per cent to 98 per cent, adding that the university had invested heavily in procuring state of the art equipment and laboratories.

He said the university met all NUC’s requirements for the accreditation, stating that the institution was also into partnership with several universities in the UK and US.
