Fed. Poly Nasarawa gets new rector

The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Abdulahi Ahmed Alhassan as the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.

A statement from the office of the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, said the appointment is with immediate effect from the 31st of December 2018 and for an initial period of four years.

Ahmed takes over from Prof Shatima Abdulkadir Saidu who has served his four year tenure.

Born on the 3rd of March 1966, Ahmed holds a National Diploma in Estate Management, a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Land Administration, Master of Science Degree in Land Resources Administration, Master of Philosophy in Geography, Environmental Resource Management, and a doctor of Philosophy, PHD, Environment Science, in view.
