DPO tasks police officers on team work

The Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Madalla suburb in Suleja local government of Niger State, CSP, Danjuma Adamu, has tasked the men and officers in the division to work with sister agencies to maintain the peace after the general elections.

He made this known in Madalla while monitoring the elections and called on the residents of the area not to entertain any fear during and after the exercise, assuring that adequate security measures were in place to protect residents 

The DPO implored politicians and traditional rules in Madalla to preach peaceful coexistence to their supporters and followers to be law abiding citizens during and after the polls. 

The police officer revealed that prior to the elections, police held security meetings with various stakeholders in Madalla to sensitize residents of the area to avoid violence. 

The DPO commended the people of Madalla and environs for good conduct, just as he tasked them to sustain the gesture in the subsequent gubernatorial and State Assembly elections.
