FRSC to establish special marshal unit in COE Zuba

Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Zuba unit command is to establish a formidable special marshal unit at the FCT College of Education, COE, Zuba. 

The unit commanding officer in charge of the area, Assistant Corps Commander, ACC, Shehu Muhammed who disclosed this to The Abuja Inquirer noted that the students would serve as FRSC ambassadors to be promoting safety ideas in the college. 

He revealed that the command would solicit the assistance of Dantata and Sawoe to construct a tall concrete wall to prevent students from crossing the road, just as he appealed to them to use pedestrian bridge to save their life from being knock down by passing vehicles. 

The unit commander warned motorists in the area to avoid committing traffic infractions to include over speeding, over loading, dangerous over taking and use of phone while driving, saying that the command would continue to arrest route violators to serve as deterrent to others. 

The road safety officer called on executives of Okada riders and commercial drivers operating in Zuba and environs to shun using u -turns, noting that the command blocked all illegal opening from Madalla to Girl axis. 

Muhammed implored motoring public to observe 100 speed limit while plying the high way, even as he reiterated commitment to instil decipline among road users.
