FRSC begins Sallah patrol along Abuja/Lokoja road

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has said that it has begun special Sallah patrol along the Abuja/Lokoja corridor.

The unit commanding officer incharge of Yangogi in Kwali area council, Aminu Shuaibu, made this known on Friday in a chat with The Abuja Inquirer, while tasking the motoring public to observe traffic rules and regulations.

The unit command, who is an Assistant Corps Commander, , warned commercial drivers against over loading and dangerous driving, just as he implored motorists to observe the recommended 100 speed limit while playing the ever busy road.

The Yangoji FRSC head appealed to motorists to exercise caution while using the road, noting that route violators would be apprehended and be made to face the wrath of the law.

Shuaibu revealed that on assumption of office he had embarked on advocacy in churches, mosques and motor parks soliciting cooperation of members of the public to cultivate the culture of safe driving.
