Nasarawa village head identifies kidnapper in restaurant

The Nasarawa state police command has arrested one of the suspects that allegedly kidnap Alhaji Jibrin, the village head of Hunki, Awe local government area of the state. 

Investigation revealed that the suspect was apprehended at an eatery where the village head had also gone to eat. 

Narrating his ordeal to journalists in New-Karu local government secretariat, Jibrin said "I identified one of those who kidnapped me at an eatery, when he noticed me at the eatery, he immediately tried to escape. 

"It was then I recognized that he was one of those that kidnapped me and I quickly alerted those within the vicinity, and he was caught". 

He added that the kidnappers released him after his relations managed to raise N600,000, and paid as ransom.

It was learnt that the suspect, Musa Adamu, reportedly confessed to being among those who kidnapped Jibrin.
