Police nab 10 suspected cultists in Zuba
The police in Zuba, a suburb of Gwagwalada area council, have arrested 10 suspected cultists.
Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of Zuba, CSP Yahuza Mohammed, made this known when some traditional rulers paid him a courtesy call, even as he implored them to always work closely with the police by providing useful information that could lead to exposing criminal elements in the area.
He said that the suspects were charged to court with a view to facing the full wrath of the law to serve as deterrent to others.
The DPO tasked the traditional rulers to educate their subjects on the need to support community policing, just as he enjoined parents to guide their wards against associating with bad eggs in the society.
The police boss called on residents of Zuba and environs to go about conducting their legitimate business without fear of harassment and molestation from any quarters, noting that patrol officers are stationed in strategic locations to prevent breakdown of law and order.
He also assured motorists plying the highway of safety that constant patrol would be carried out along the bridge as well as Zuba/Kaduna and Zuba/Gwagwalada road aimed at tackling robbery incidents.
