Kuje chair picks nomination form for second term

A head of the 2016 FCT Area Council elections, the chairman Kuje area council, Hon. Ishaku Shaban, has picked nomination form promising to deliver more dividends of democracy when re-elected. Speaking to his supporters in Kuje, Shaban promised to give priority to the welfare of the people as well as introduce programmes that would improve the living condition of the people at the grassroots. According to him, working in collaboration with the FCT administration, he would look into the areas of portable drinking water, roads construction and improved power supply. He also assured the residents that he will work with the fear of God, and urged them to give support him the required support by re-electing him. “I live with the people, this is my community and I cannot afford to short change them. I would soon unveil new vision for the people of Kuje area council which is anchored on the faithful and participatory implementation of innovative programmes and projects in all areas of peace and development,” he said.
