Ebira earmarks N150m for community hall project in Gwags

The Ebira Tao community has earmarked N 150, 000 million to construct a befitting hall in Gwagwalada area council.

Speaking to journalists during the occasion, the chief of the community, Anebira 1 Gwagwalada, Dr. Abdulkarim Ibrahim, said a board of trustees was set up to ensure transparency and accountability in the project.

 He solicited for the support and cooperation of all members of the association for the timely completion of the hall, noting that when completed the project would in no small measure boost the revenue generation of the association.

The Anebira tasked his subjects to be law abiding just as he implored them to use the advantage of their population to contribute their quota in bringing rapid socio-economic development to Gwagwalada.

Contributing, president of the association, Malam Yakubu Ozigi, said the association decided to execute the project to enhance the skills of members.

He noted that the centre would benefit youths residing in Gwagwalada and their state. Ozigi said youths would be trained in various skills such as knitting and hair styling, adding that an annex guest house would be constructed to accommodate visitors.
