Erosion: Group sends SOS over Dagiri community in Gwagwalada

A group of concerned citizens in Gwagwalada Area Council, has called on the authorities to intervene in the impending devastation that might affect Gagiri Community in the area, as the rains continue.

This is contained in a statement by Comrade Suleiman Ibrahim Barde, chairman, Gwagwalada Concern Forum.

He said, "The lives of Dagiri, Anguwan Bassa and Anguwan dodo, Kutunku behind abattoir people are in grave danger."

Barde added that, "The next heavy rain may wipe out many lives and properties worth millions of Naira in Dagiri of Gwagwalada area council as a result of massive ecological erosions encroachment.

"We urge that the appropriate authorities in charge of the ecology control to urgently take necessary actions before it's too late,” he noted.
