Peace: Bello commends security agencies’ synergy

FCT Minister, Muhammad Bello, has attributed the relative peace being enjoyed in the nation’s capital to the synergy and coordinated work among various security agencies.

Bello, who made the observation when he received a delegation from the Army Headquarters Garrison, Abuja, led by its new Commander, Maj. Gen. Ayuba Hamman, applauded the team for their efforts to rid the territory of terror threats.

He pledged the continuous support of the FCT Administration to security agencies in their duty of securing the nation’s capital.

Earlier, Major General Hamman had commended the minister for the great work he has done in spreading development to all parts of the FCT, describing him as a silent achiever, worthy of emulation.

He appreciated the minister for his support for the Nigeria Army and for promoting synergy among security agencies, especially through the regular security meetings as well as the provision of logistics when the need arises.

Present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary, FCTA Mr Olusade Adesola, Chief of Staff to the FCT Minister, Malam Bashir Mai-Bornu, the Director, Security Services, Alhaji Adamu Gwary, the Deputy Director Public Relations Army HQ Garrison Col. Omale OchaGwuba and other management staff of the FCTA and the Army Headquarters Garrison.
