EMEKA ORAETOKA

No doubt, the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is committed to the advancement of all sectors of our national development but those he assembled as ministers will not allow him to realize his objectives. This is my candid opinion.

As for the education sector, we need what can take Nigeria to the Eldorado. The ministers should not key into the art but sciences.

Government is already doing well by wanting to employ 500,000 teachers in the country, even though some stakeholders are saying they should be retrained, I believe they should learn on the job.

We have been speaking on the falling standard of education in Nigeria. But with the employment of 500,000 teachers, I am sure the education sector will experience growth.
