Banks record 5,917 fraud cases in 6months – CBN

A total of about 5,917 fraud cases were allegedly committed in the banking sector in the last six months, the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has said.

Data from the CBN’s Financial Stability Report revealed that the fraud cases involved the sum of N11.98bn in the first half of this year.
