ANAN lauds FCT Perm Sec for financial prudence
The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, ANAN, has commended the FCTA permanent secretary, Sir Chinyeaka Ohaa, for prudent management of the nation’s resources and dint of hard work.
President of the association, Alhaji Shehu Usman, gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy call on the permanent secretary in his office.
“Your new position did not come by accident. Indeed, it is a product of hardwork, determination and dedication to duty. We are also impressed with the way you have been managing the nation’s resources in a prudent manner. We are happy that our member is occupying such an enviable position,” Usman said.
The president used the occasion to appeal to Ohaa to use his good offices to ensure that ANAN members who are in the employ of the FCTA and some states are placed on grade level 10 in line with the approval of the National Council on Establishment in 2008.
He said: “As a respected and dedicated member of the Association, we implore you to use your good offices to assist us to ensure that ANAN members in FCT and many states are placed on Grade Level 10 according to the approval of the National Council on Establishment in 2008.”
Earlier, the permanent secretary, charged the association to key into the Change Agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari in ensuring that Nigeria is corruption free, adding that the president has good intentions for the country.
