Uniabuja VC lauds Zenith Bank on CSR

 The Vice Chancellor of University of Abuja, Prof. Michael Adikwu, has applauded the management of Zenith Bank Plc for providing its corporate social responsibility towards re- positioning the university. 

He made the commendation last week in his office when he received the management of the bank to thank them on the existing cordial working relationship between the university and the bank. 

The VC revealed that the university would continue to appreciate the establishment of ICT centre built by the bank, describing such gesture as of immense benefit to the entire university's community. 

He used the opportunity to encourage the bank to keep on deploying its professionalism in dealing with the public, noting that such quality stand the bank out among other banks conducting business in the country. 

"Let me start by first welcoming our August guest, Mr. Jim Ovia and his team to the university. I will like to say that from the innermost part of our hearts, the entire university community is appreciative of your finding out time to be here today.

"This is an offshoot from that existing relationship between us, and we believe that there is a lot more stock for us to benefit from each other in the future. 

"Very soon the MoU signaling that new vista of relationship will be signed into effect. I will also wish that you still bring in such outstanding quality of performance that is your Hallmark in handling that assignment," he stated. 

 

Responding on behalf of the management of the bank, the Assistant General Manager Abuja Zonal office, Ezeh Valentine, expressed the commitment of the bank to sustain the existing relationship with the university, just as he commended the VC for working hard to improve standard of education in the institution. 

He maintained that the bank would continue to assist the university in the area of ICT driven and youth empowerment when the need arises.
