Officials of the FCT Emergency Management Department, FEMD, on Friday, rescued a suspected “One-Chance” victim at the popular Power House junction in Asokoro.
Head Public Affairs of the department, Nkechi Isa, said the victim, a woman identified as Khadija Salisu, was pushed out of a moving vehicle after a transit-related mugging that occurred at about 4.30 pm.
Isa, in a statement explained that, “The Search and Rescue Team was notified of the incident by the FCT Fire Service.
Eye witnesses at the scene say it could be a suspected robbery incident known locally as One Chance.
“On arrival at the incident scene, the Team found the victim identified as Khadija Salisu unconscious and without visible physical injury.”
Khadija was immediately rushed to the Asokoro District Hospital and is said to be responding to treatment.
