The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced the distribution of 32-kilogram luggage bags to pilgrims, in preparation for the return trip from Saudi Arabia.
The exercise comes ahead of the resumption of return flights scheduled for June 13, 2025, as announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.
Board officials said the distribution is aimed at standardizing luggage weights and ensuring pilgrims avoid delays or penalties during their journey back to Nigeria.
FCT MPWB assured that the distribution exercise will continue until all registered pilgrims receive their bags, as part of efforts to facilitate a safe and orderly return for pilgrims after completing the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.
