Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, will from Thursday this week begin a fresh round of project commissioning and flag-offs, with two completed roads set for inauguration and 12 new projects lined up for commencement.
According to a statement by the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the exercise will run from September 18 to October 16, 2025, covering roads, bridges, and the Light-Up Abuja solar power initiative.
Olayinka said the projects include the commissioning of the access roads in Sector Centre B by Dakibiyu District, as well as newly constructed Roads ILS 11 (Esther Bali Street) and MAR 24 (Kez Udezue Street) in Mabushi District.
