CP Dantawaye strengthens security synergy in Abuja

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, CP Miller Dantawaye, has embarked on a strategic engagement with heads of sister security agencies in Abuja to deepen collaboration and strengthen joint operations across the nation’s capital.

As part of his ongoing familiarisation tour, Dantawaye on Wednesday visited the Commander Guards Brigade, Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya; Commander Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; Commander 053 NAF Camp, Group Captain H.S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the visit was designed to enhance inter-agency cooperation, intelligence sharing, and joint operational strategies aimed at boosting the security architecture of the Territory.

“CP Dantawaye reiterated that effective policing and national security thrive on unity of purpose among all security stakeholders.

“He commended the continuous cooperation between the agencies and emphasized the need for sustained synergy in tackling emerging threats across the Territory.”

The commanders of the respective security formations reportedly reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the police and sustaining joint efforts toward maintaining peace and stability in the FCT.

The visits ended with renewed pledges of collaboration and mutual respect among the security institutions.
