The All Progressives Congress, APC, has named Mr. Ayoola Olajolo as its new Director of Administration at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
This was announced in a statement on Friday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Morka said Olajolo, a lawyer and public administrator, has over 20 years of experience in legal practice, grassroots politics and public service.
He noted that Olajolo is from Ile-Ife, Osun State, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.
Olajolo had served as Secretary of Ife Central Local Government between 1999 and 2003 before being elected Chairman. He later joined the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he rose to the position of Assistant Chief Legal Officer.
According to the APC, Olajolo will now oversee the day-to-day administration of the party’s National Secretariat, manage staff, and ensure smooth running of party programmes.
The ruling party congratulated him on the appointment and wished him success in his new role.
