Uzodimma rallies Ondo ambassadors for Tinubu’s re-election

Imo State Governor and Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hope Uzodimma, has inaugurated the Ondo State chapter of the group, urging members to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

Uzodimma said the President deserved a second term, citing ongoing projects and reforms introduced since 2023.

Represented at the event by the South-West Coordinator of the group and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dayo Adeyeye, the governor pointed to progress in infrastructure, education, and healthcare as evidence of the administration’s performance.

He noted that road construction projects across the country were improving connectivity and boosting economic activities, while easing long-standing transportation challenges.

Uzodimma also highlighted the student loan scheme, describing it as a key intervention aimed at expanding access to higher education and reducing financial barriers for young Nigerians.

He added that efforts in the health sector, including rehabilitation of facilities, were contributing to improved service delivery.

The governor charged newly appointed local government ambassadors to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure coordinated support for the President’s second-term bid.

In his response, the Ondo State Coordinator of the group, Victor Olabimtan, said the initiative would serve as a platform to promote government programmes and address misinformation at the grassroots.
