The Minister of State, Federal Capital Territory, Dr Ramatu Aliyu, has said the conferment of the Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN, position on seven indigenes of Kogi state speaks volumes of their resourcefulness.
The minister’s goodwill message came shortly after the swearing-in of the new Silks on Wednesday, 8th December, 2021, at the Supreme Court. She expressed joy that their exploits in the legal profession has earned them a place on the exalted list.
Aliyu also expressed the believes that the recognition of a retinue of worthy Kogi State indigenes by the conferement of SAN amongst the 72 conferees is a positive not just to their state, but to the country as a whole.
She wishes them well and enjoined them to redouble their efforts towards an enduring reform of the legal system to the benefit of the common man and humanity.
