The Enugu State House of Assembly candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for Awgu North constituency, Jennifer Ndubuisi has visited women during their annual August Meeting.
Ndubisi said the visit is to align and appreciate the women in her constituency for their support since she emerged flagbearer of her party.
She said, “I have come here today because you are my people and without a woman there is no nation.
The support I have received from you all is beyond my expectation.I want to urge you to coñtinue to show me this support until I reach the promised land, which is the Enugu State House Assembly.” She also requested that the women should reach out to her sponsor and mentor, Hon. Ginika Tor, Federal Commissioner, Federal Character Commission to thank her for all her support and readiness to see her dream to fruition. She said “Hon. Ginika Tor also funded me on this visit to you my mothers”.
“I thank you for the opportunity you have given me to appear in your presence, despite all you have on the agenda of your meeting today”
While canvassing for support, the 28 years old female aspirant pledged to ensure adequate representation, capacity building, attraction of government aids and incentives, employment opportunities to the youths , advocacy for young female politicians , skill acquisition programs for the people of her state constituency and beyond.
