The leadership of the Federal Capital Territory Administration said its committed to the full implementation of the various reforms introduced by the federal government, in order to improve on its service delivery to the public.
Permanent Secretary, FCTA, Olusade Adesola, said these reforms are aimed at strengthening the agencies of the government to perform optimally and deliver quality services to the people.
For one, the permanent secretary pledged that the FCT Administration will fully implement the Performance Management System, PMS, and ensure the digitalization of government agencies for excellent service delivery.
Adesola, while speaking at a valedictory ceremony in honour of a staff in his office, Mrs. Funmilola Makinde, who retired from service on Friday said, “These reforms include the implementation of PMS and full digitization of the activities of the FCT Administration, which will commence soon,”
The permanent secretary assured the staff of the FCT Administration’s commitment to improve on the system and make it better for effective and efficient implementation of government policies and programmes.
Adesola said that all hands must be on deck to see the reforms through to a logical end; saying that they are aimed at ensuring that the institutions work.
He congratulated Mrs. Makinde, who has been working with him since 2015, and commended her for the dedication and commitment to duty demonstrated while in the service.
The permanent secretary enjoined staff of the FCT Administration to imbibe the spirit of hard work and commitment to duty in the discharge of their responsibilities.
In her remarks, the celebrant, Mrs. Funmilola Makinde, thanked the Permanent Secretary for the opportunity to serve, as well as the honour bestowed on her by the leadership and management of the FCT Administration.
