The Governing Council of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has approved the appointment of Mallam Murtala Kana as the substantive bursar of the university.
The council gave the approval at its 30th Regular Meeting held on September 7 and September 8, 2023.
The university said in a statement on its Facebook page that until his appointment, Kana was the Acting Bursar of the University since March 2022.
“Also appointed by the Governing Council is Engineer Ahmed Liman as the substantive Director of Physical Planning, and Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Madaki as the substantive Director of the University Health Services.
“The Governing Council also approved the appointment of ESV Ibrahim Jibrin Mairiga as the Director of Works and Maintenance.
“According to a statement issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Council Mallam Bala I. Ahmed II indicates that all the appointments are with immediate effect,” the university said.
