As part of efforts of reducing the menace of unemployment among youths in the Federal Capital Territory, the Abuja Enterprise Agency have entered a partnership agreement with the FCT College of Education, Zuba, to widen entrepreneurship development in the territory.
Speaking during the official signing ceremony at the AEA office in Jahi, the Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, said the collaboration would deepen entrepreneurship knowledge of staff and students of the institution.
Ezirigwe, further explained that the relationship between the two establishments should be sustained with a view to ensuring that entrepreneurship is well positioned as a panacea to internet fraud, kidnapping and other associated acts of crimes among the youths.
He further noted that the fulfillment and happiness of Staff of the Agency stems from the success story of the Agency’s clients and businesses that are thriving in the midst of turbulent business environment.
The AEA boss who praised the foresight of the leadership of the college, particularly, in aligning the vision of the institution with modern realties, stressed the need for it to remain steadfast in the entrepreneurship journey.
Earlier, the Provost of FCT College of Education, Zuba, represented by the Director, Special Duties, Grace Tyoden, said the collaboration became necessary in view of the desire of the college to add value to the lives of its students and staff by positioning them for economic independence.
The director who affirmed the commitment of the college to sustain the mutually beneficial partnership, expressed satisfaction with the activities of the present leadership of Abuja Enterprise Agency.
