In a resounding commendation, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State for his exemplary stewardship during the recently concluded Ondo State
Governorship primary election. Serving as the chairman of the committee, Governor Ododo’s performance earned praise from the APC leadership.
In a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor Ismaila Isah, said,Presenting the report of the Ondo state APC primary election committee to the party’s national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governor Ododo received accolades for his remarkable handling of the process.
Dr. Ganduje, in receiving the committee’s report, extended congratulations to Governor Ododo, acknowledging the significance of the Kogi State Governor’s maiden national assignment.
Dr. Ganduje further commended Governor Ododo’s exceptional leadership skills and the transparent manner in which he managed the primary election. The live viewing of the collation of results from the 203 wards and 18 Local Government areas of Ondo State was highlighted as a testament to the integrity of the entire election process.
Expressing gratitude to the APC National Working Committee for entrusting him and his committee members with the crucial national assignment, Governor Ododo emphasized that the report encapsulates all aspects of the primary election. He assured that the recommendations outlined in the report would aid the party in addressing post-election matters and ensure unity as the APC prepares for the November governorship election in Ondo State.
Accompanied by key figures including Senator Oview Omo-Agege, Honourable Abdullahi Bello, Honourable Abdulrahim Egidi, Barr. Deedat Ozigi Salami, and senior aides, Governor Ododo’s delegation presented the report at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The commendation signifies Governor Ododo’s growing prominence within the APC and underscores the party’s commitment to transparent and credible electoral processes.
