The Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council AMAC, Hon. Christopher Maikalangu, has expressed excitement over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval for the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic in Gwarinpa, Abuja.

In a press statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki, Maikalangu commended the President and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Nyesom Wike, for prioritizing the educational needs of the FCT.

“The approval for the Federal Polytechnic in Gwarinpa is a dream come true for residents of AMAC and the entire FCT,” Maikalangu stated.

“It is a testament to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration and Minister Wike’s commitment to the development of the FCT.”

The chairman noted that the polytechnic would bring significant educational and economic benefits to the area.

“We have never had it this good. From the appointment of an FCT native as a Federal Executive Council member to the establishment of this polytechnic, it is clear that this administration is serious about inclusivity and development,” Maikalangu added.
