The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Prof Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, has highlighted the successes of her administration since she assumed office about eleven months ago to include among others, payment of backlog of various arrears of allowances which she attributed to the successful blockage of massive financial leakages in the university.
Speaking during a Sallah visit by staff members of her office to her residence, in commemoration of the 2025 Eidul Fitri, Liman appealed for more patience from members of the university community, noting that very soon things will get better.
The VC used the occasion to call for prayers from members of the university community as well as the success and development of the university, Nasarawa State and the Nation at Large.
Liman, who thanked the delegation for the visit reiterated the importance of Prayers for personal spiritual growth, development and also for the success of the University, Nasarawa State, and Nigeria at large.
A statement on the university’s social media account, said the husband of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Liman, SAN, also thanked the entire staff members of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for the support they have been giving her, which has resulted in the successes that her administration has recorded thus far.
Liman called for cooperation, unity of purpose and dedication to duty from the staff of the VC’s Office.
Responding on behalf of members of staff, Special Duties Officer to the VC, Hajia Saratu Idris, thanked the Liman’s for the warm hospitality.
She further assured that staff members of the VC’s Office will continue to give the office and the University their unflinching and unwavering support to ensure that Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman and the University succeeds.
Meanwhile, the delegation also paid Sallah homage to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Prof. Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo, at his residence, during the visit.
Modibbo, who thanked the delegation for the visit, called for more dedication from staff of the university to ensure that the Sa’adatu Hassan Liman-led management delivers on its welfarist agenda.
During the visit, prayers were offered for the university, Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
