As controversy lingers over the result of the 2025 JAMB result, a student of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babaginda University, Lapai, Niger State, Eunice Saba Nathaniel, has expressed her disappointment, while also proffering solutions.
In a letter to The Abuja Inquirer, Ms. Nathaniel wrote: “Dear Editor, I am saddened, like a number of other prospective admission seekers, at the outcome of the UTME result as conducted by JAMB.
“I worked hard for this, but I am disappointed. However, there are few measures that I believe are necessary to remedy the ugly situation.
“One, the government should work towards ensuring that the UTME is open for qualified students for higher education at no cost. A lot of parents are already too burdened financially, and removing registration fees will assist greatly.
“Also, there should be intensive lectures especially for public schools on the use of computer based tests. A lot of poor performance is due to the poor use of computers by students especially in rural areas.
“It is my hope that these few suggestions of mine alongside others will give the authorities something to work with.”
