The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has carried out operations against armed groups in Kwara state on 28 September 2025.
The missions targeted areas around Kakihun, Oke-ode, Babanla, and nearby communities.
During the operations, the Air Force conducted reconnaissance flights, close air support, and surveillance to locate and engage the armed groups. Troops on the ground were supported with critical intelligence gathered from the air.
In a statement, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said all missions were successfully completed.
He assured Nigerians of the Air Force’s commitment to protecting citizens, maintaining security, and preventing attacks by dangerous groups.
Citizens were encouraged to remain alert, confident, and supportive of the Armed Forces as they continue efforts to restore peace in the affected areas.
