The Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council, NECO, Prof Ibrahim Dantani Wushishi, has lost his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi, who passed away at the age of 106.
A statement issued on Saturday by NECO’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Azeez Sani, described the late Alhaji Wushishi as a respected community leader in Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State.
Azeez disclosed that the late community leader is survived by 12 children, 60 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, including Prof. Wushishi, the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO.
He added that the late Alhaji Wushishi was buried in accordance with Islamic rites, with prayers offered for Allah to grant him “Aljannah Firdausi.”
