The Kogi State Government has released a midterm performance report of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, highlighting his achievements in the first two years of his administration.
The report was published in the latest edition of the Lugard House Monthly Newsletter, a publication of the Office of the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, said the publication provides a clear summary of the administration’s progress across key sectors of the state.
Isah explained that the latest edition, which is Volume 8 of the newsletter, opens the year with a review of achievements recorded so far and also sets the tone for the next phase of governance in Kogi State.
According to him, the report documents the governor’s leadership journey and focuses on policy implementation, institutional reforms and results achieved in areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, economic management and governance reforms.
He said the newsletter presents governance through evidence, detailing projects executed, reforms sustained and systems strengthened, while preparing the ground for the next two years of the administration.
“It lays out the journey in clear, sharp perspectives of projects started, work completed and systems that define leadership in a state buoyed by renewed hope; marked by roads connecting communities, public buildings breeding efficiency in governance, health facilities promoting wellbeing and schools shaping the future of generations,” Isah said.
He also noted that the publication highlights the role of collaboration in governance, adding that the Office of the Kogi State First Lady featured prominently for its social interventions that have supported government policies, especially for women, children and vulnerable groups.
Isah said the first edition of the newsletter for the new year serves both as a record of progress and a signal of continuity, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to steady development and inclusive growth.
He added that the publication reflects Governor Ododo’s belief in transparency and accountability, as well as the need to keep citizens informed about government activities.
