2027: Opposition in crisis, says APC chieftain

A member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Aare Tolu Bankole, has said the opposition parties are in crisis ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Bankole, in a press statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, said the opposition was divided and unprepared to challenge the ruling party in the next election.

He said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had recorded significant achievements under its Renewed Hope agenda, adding that the government’s policies and reforms were already producing results.

According to him, economic reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration are addressing inflation, attracting foreign investments and improving infrastructure across the country.

Bankole also said the government had recorded progress in security, agriculture, education and healthcare, noting that the developments were improving the lives of Nigerians.

“The opposition has failed to present credible alternatives and has instead resorted to distractions and internal conflicts,” he said.

He expressed confidence that the APC would secure victory in the 2027 general elections, urging Nigerians to support the administration’s policies and programmes.

Bankole called on citizens to remain united and support efforts aimed at promoting peace, progress and national development.
