Yilwatda urges Muslims to support Tinubu’s reforms at Eid-el-Kabir

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has congratulated Muslims across the country on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, urging Nigerians to support the ongoing reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Yilwatda described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred festival that symbolises faith, sacrifice, obedience, love and devotion to Almighty Allah.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, the APC chairman said the spiritual lessons of the celebration were relevant to Nigeria’s current stage of development.

He noted that sacrifice, patience, perseverance and collective responsibility were necessary in building a stronger, united and prosperous nation.

Yilwatda urged Nigerians, particularly the Muslim Ummah, to continue promoting peaceful coexistence, national unity and harmony across ethnic, religious and political divides.

He added that the Sallah celebration should strengthen the bonds of love, understanding and brotherhood among citizens.

The APC chairman also called on Nigerians to support the administration of Tinubu and its reforms aimed at improving economic growth, infrastructure, security, job creation and long-term prosperity.

According to him, although the reforms require patience and shared sacrifice, they remain necessary steps towards restoring economic stability and securing a brighter future for the country.

Yilwatda expressed confidence that Nigeria would emerge stronger and more economically competitive under Tinubu’s leadership.

He further appealed to Nigerians to use the Eid celebration to pray for peace, unity, security and progress in the country, as well as wisdom for leaders at all levels.

The APC chairman prayed for Allah to accept the sacrifices and acts of worship of Muslim faithful and grant families peace, joy, good health and abundant blessings during and after the celebration.
