Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Tram has denied owing ₦400 million in damages arising from a 2024 car crash, saying the vehicles involved belonged to a friend and were not rented as he had previously claimed.
The clarification followed the circulation of an interview after the reality TV star was unveiled as one of the contestants in the new season of the show.
Responding to claims that he owed ₦400 million, Tram dismissed the reports, insisting he would not be “this chill” if the debt existed.
He confirmed he was involved in the September 2024 crash but described it as an accident in which no lives were lost.
Tram also reversed an earlier claim that the damaged vehicles were rented, stating that one of the cars belonged to a friend who was also involved in the crash.
The accident occurred when the 2022 Corvette Stingray he was driving reportedly lost control, collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee and crashed into a concrete pole. Although no one died, Tram sustained head, jaw and back injuries.
Following the crash, Tram appealed for public support, citing damages exceeding ₦400 million from vehicle write-offs, hospital bills and property damage. His latest comments, however, have sparked fresh debate on social media over inconsistencies between his current account and his earlier statements.
