A senior legislative aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Chukwudi Asudeogu, is leading APC reconciliation efforts in Okposi Achara Ward, as donated a campaign vehicle and cash support, calling for party unity and grassroots commitment.
Asudeogu during the presentation reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the APC in Ebonyi State.
At the APC stakeholders’ and reconciliation meeting at his residence in Okposi Achara, Ohaozara Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, on Sunday, November 1, 2026, Asudeogu said the meeting was to engage aggrieved members, resolve internal differences and strengthen party unity in Okposi Achara Ward.
According to him, the meeting was sequel to a directive under the leadership of Chief Austin Umahi, Engr. Osborne Umahi, Hon. Ogbuefi Enekwachi Akpa, Hon. Princess Iyioku and other party leaders, including traditional rulers.
Addressing the gathering, Asudeogu urged members to embrace dialogue, mutual understanding and reconciliation, stressing that internal cohesion remains essential to the party’s organisational strength.
He called on stakeholders to put aside personal differences, close existing gaps and redirect their energies towards building a united and effective party structure ahead of forthcoming elections.
He also underscored Ebonyi State’s strategic relevance in national affairs, particularly with Engr. David Umahi serving as Minister of Works and encouraged party members to demonstrate political maturity and work collectively to advance the interests of the state.
Another major highlight of the meeting was the ongoing construction of the 12.23-kilometre Okposi–Court Area–Ojigwe Road by the administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru.
Asudeogu described the project as a significant milestone for the community, noting that its completion would improve road connectivity, ease transportation, facilitate commercial activities and create wider economic opportunities for residents.
He urged the people of Okposi Achara to demonstrate their appreciation for the governor’s development initiatives through collective support at the polls, emphasising that every vote matters and that no vote should be taken for granted.
The meeting was attended by Hon. Lilian Okorie, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ebonyi State; Aja Obinna, ward party chairman; and other prominent party leaders, stakeholders and community representatives.
