The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has congratulated the wife of the FCT Minister, Hon. Justice Suzzette Wike, over her elevation as an Appeal Court Judge.
Mahmoud, in a congratulatory letter sent to Mrs Wike, noted that the well deserved elevation was in recognition of Justice’s outstanding contribution to the legal profession.
Media Adviser to the minister, Austine Elemue, in a statement said that the minister expressed confidence that Justice Wike’s wisdom and sound judgment would continue to positively impact the judicial system and uphold the rights and liberties of all individuals who come before her.
Elemue quoted the minister in the congratulatory letter as stating that, “I write to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your recent elevation to the Appeal Court.
“Your appointment as a Judge in the Court of Appeal is a testament to your exceptional legal expertise, unwavering dedication to justice, and exemplary service to the legal profession.
“I have been informed that throughout your career, you have consistently demonstrated integrity, fairness, and a deep commitment to upholding the principles of law.
“Your contributions to the legal practice have been invaluable, and your new role as an Appeal Court Judge is a well-deserved recognition of your outstanding achievements.
“I have no doubt that your wisdom and sound judgment will continue to positively impact the judicial system and uphold the rights and liberties of all individuals who come before you. Indeed, your appointment brings great pride not only to your colleagues and peers but also to the entire family members especially my boss, the Honourable Minister of FCT, His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Wike.
