The Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, CIPMN, has taken a bold step to elevate the standard of project management certification in the country through a new partnership with technology firm, SimplifiedIQ.
Speaking at a recent signing ceremony for a strategic Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, CIPMN’s Registrar General, Mr. Henry Ifeanyi Mbadiwe, reaffirmed the Institute’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of its certification examinations.
Mbadiwe disclosed that CIPMN is undergoing a sweeping digital transformation, with a major focus now placed on overhauling its examination and result processing systems.
“This partnership is a crucial part of our broader digitalisation journey. Our aim is to create a dynamic and innovative exam-setting process by leveraging artificial intelligence. This will not only improve the quality of assessments but also free up human resources to drive forward-thinking initiatives,” he said.
He noted that CIPMN has ambitious plans to expand its membership base to at least 5,000 professionals by next year. He also highlighted the Institute’s groundbreaking achievement in developing the first project management curriculum for Nigerian universities.
“With AI-driven systems, examination results will be generated and delivered without human interference, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency. Ultimately, raising the quality of our assessments will translate into better-trained project managers across the nation,” he added.
