FCTA begins registration for 2025 Hajj

Intending pilgrims looking to participate in the 2025 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia, have been asked to start making payments, as the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board said it has commenced registration for the exercise.

Prospective pilgrims are expected to make a deposit of atleast, N8.4 million via a bank draft from any commercial bank

in favour of the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, to get themselves registered.

A statement by the Chief Information Officer of the board, Ahmad Saleh, advised intending pilgrims who wish to perform the next year’s Hajj through the board, to submit their bank drafts to the board’s respective Area Officers at the six Area Councils in the FCT.

“The prospective intending pilgrims are to note that the board does not accept cash deposits and does not entertain registration by proxy.

“It strictly adheres to the principles of first come, first served basis”, the statement added.
